Phil Wyzik, CEO of Monadnock Family Services, is leaving his position after more than a decade in the role, the agency’s board chair announced in a written statement Wednesday.
Wyzik has served as CEO of the Keene-based mental health agency since 2012, and will leave the position on Dec. 31.
“I have the deepest respect for the hard work and dedication of the MFS staff,” Wyzik said in a text message Wednesday. Wyzik did not immediately respond to questions about the reason for his departure.
Reba Clough, thanked Wyzik for his tenure at the agency, but declined to comment beyond the written statement. “We want to assure our clients and the community that this transition will not impact our services,” she wrote.
Monadnock Family Services’ chief medical officer Dr. Mindy Asbury will take over as interim CEO. Asbury also serves as Cheshire Medical Center’s Chairwomen of Psychiatry, according to the statement.
Located on Avon Street, Monadnock Family Services has provided mental health services to the region for over 100 years. MFS has over 200 team members, serves 35 towns and has offices in Peterborough and Jaffrey, according to its website.
