PRESENTERS:

Ed Mahoney is a New Hampshire licensed Pastoral Psychotherapist and a Clinical Fellow. He currently practices at Bedford Counseling Associates in Manchester, NH where he specializes in couple therapy and bereavement counseling.

Dr. M. Katherine Shear is the Marion E. Kenworthy Professor of Psychiatry and the founding Director of the Center for Complicated Grief at Columbia School of Social Work. She has developed a targeted psychotherapy, Compli- cated Grief Treatment, for people unable to move forward after a loss, which has proved to be efficacious in three NIMH-funded randomized controlled trials. She is the founding director of the Center for Complicated Grief, the only such center within a school of social work.
