Welcome to the Child Impact Program (CIP). Since you are unable to participate in a live online or in-person CIP class, you have been provided this special link and password so you are able to watch the CIP video presentation.
How the Child Impact Program Helps You
The Child Impact Program was created by the NH Legislature to help parents of minor children who are involved in parenting and/or child support issues in NH Courts (RSA 458-D).
This program will help you to address problems that your children face as the result of the dissolution of a relationship, including its impact on them and their changing family relationships. When it comes to supporting your children through this process, you may find yourself thinking, “Will I know what to say at the right time?” The Child Impact Program will enable you to choose words and actions that can truly help your children, because you will better understand:
- The effect of parental conflict on children
- The ways children may act out their feelings of separation, loss and changing family roles
How the Child Impact Program Helps Your Children
The stress you may experience at this time can be due, in part, by concerns about how to be a good parent under these changed circumstances. By participating in this four-hour program, you will learn how to:
- Increase the self-esteem of your children
- Resolve parental conflict and its impact on your children
- Effectively co-parent

2) CIP Survey Monkey Evaluation – Please take a few minutes to complete the evaluation of the CIP presentation you watched. It should not take more than 2 to 3 minutes. We appreciate your feedback, so that we can improve future classes for parents like yourself.
3) Certificate of Completion – To obtain your Certificate of Completion, please reply to the email you received from the Community Mental Health Center which provided the link and password to this webpage. - Question #1: What do the children in the video identify as the most difficult part of the divorce process for them?
- Question #2: What do we call it when a child is placed in the middle of parental conflict?
- Question #3: What is the most important aspect of communication?
If you received correspondence in the mail from the Center, please call them at the number on the instructions to complete this process. Within 5 business days from receipt of your answers to the above questions, the Center will send you a copy of the Certificate for your records and will also mail a copy to the Court.
