This statistic motivates us here at LRMHC to work even harder in our efforts to de-stigmatize mental health challenges and minimize barriers to accessing mental health care. \nWe invite you\, our community of supporters\, to join our 28.2 Mile Walking Challenge. We’ll be walking\, running\, hiking\, rolling\, etc. to raise funds for our mission – to provide integrated mental & physical health care for people with mental illness while creating wellness and understanding in our communities. \nEvery mile you move and every dollar you raise will go directly towards better care for people with mental illness here in the Greater Lakes Region. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe all know the positive impact that moving your body can have on your mental health! DESCRIPTION:In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month\, Fellowship Housing is pleased to present Ernie & Joe: Crisis Cops an intimate portrait of two Texas police officers who are helping change the way police respond to mental health crisis calls. The film takes audiences on a personal journey\, weaving together their experiences during their daily encounters with people in crisis. Guns and handcuffs holstered\, Ernie and Joe de-escalate confrontations\, divert people in crisis to desperately needed mental health services and above all…save lives. \n  \nJoe Smarro\, a star of the film\, will then lead a panel discussion with our own community leaders on this important issue and how the community of Concord\, NH deals with crisis response. He will be joined by Concord Chief of Police\, Bradley Osgood. Executive Director of NAMI-NH\, Susan Stearns. VP Clinical Operations of Riverbend\, Sarah Gagnon and a special guest from the community. \n  \nThe evening will start at 6:00PM with dessert and networking and will conclude at 9:00PM. There is no cost for tickets to see the film although\, there is limited seating so reservations are required. \nAll donations will go directly to Fellowship Housing Opportunities\, a provider of quality affordable housing for those living with mental illness.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the annual Lite up the Nite for Mental Health Run/walk 5k in Manchester on Thursday\, June 17th and support efforts to keep mental illness out of the dark! Register yourself or put a team together and participate with friends or family! \nYour participation in this event will support the work of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester in promoting mental wellness and providing services for children\, teens and adults in need. \nThe event will offer a rolling wave start.  Runners will be seeded into starting waves based on their self-times.  Waves will be divided into separate corralled areas providing enough space for runners to stay socially distanced within their wave area while they wait for the race to start.  Personal wave start times will be emailed on Thursday\, June 10th. Participants will be directed to the start/finish line by staff and will be sent off one-by-one\, 15 seconds apart.  There will be no congregating at the start/finish line area. \nClick here to head over to Total Image Running to get all the info to register!

The 2021 New Hampshire Cast shares their stories through poetry\, essay\, and expressive arts. \nDue to COVID-19\, our show this Spring will be taped before a small\, masked and socially distanced audience at the historic Phenix Hall  on Main Street in Concord\, NH.  And while masks are nothing new to individuals living with mental health conditions all of us often hide our pain behind the mask of a smile. This spring\, our storytellers are taking off their masks to share their mental health stories to shine a light on the hope that is recovery. \n\nWhile this event is free\, registration is required. When you register\, we hope you will consider a donation in support of our behavioral health educational programming to increase knowledge and reduce stigma.
